Original troop idea: Ice Mage!

This idea might have been suggested by a few others, but not that i have seen, and it's not in the ruled out section so i thought i would go ahead and post my idea. For a new troop idea i was thinking of a Ice Mage. basically what it does is shoot a ranged ice ball from his staff, targeting the nearest defence. instead of doing damage, it freezes the defence for a very short time(like 1 sec) while the other troops destroy it(ex:giants). Of course the ice Mage would have to be made so its not too Op(like low fire rate,health,damage, and other stuff) what do you think?

I love this idea, this sounds great as a new DE troop, maybe 200-500 DE and take up 10 space, but give the troop some damage for taking out walls, like it freezes the walls and all damage to the walls is worth 2x by the other troops.
