Why is there no real troop diversity? (fuctions, not race thread)

This is a semi-casual Mobile Gaming App.

This isn't WoW or LoL, where you can have hundreds of variety in whatever your doing.

This is meant to be a simple mobile strategy game.

It succeeded in it's available diversity (compared to other mobile games) and it's simplicity.

I hate to burst your bubble but there is another "Clash-like" app that does take advantage of diversifying its troops functions. I will not list the game here as advertising is not allowed however I will let you know that a certain ex top player in CoC works for the company that designed this app.

ive played other strat/tower defense games that allow you to target you defenses to strong, weak, first, etc and its fun but I like the simplicity to coc. its complex enough to me
