    Why is there no real troop diversity? (fuctions, not race thread)

    Why is it that there is no overlap and counterparts to existing troops, that would kind of be the same thing, with small differences (ofc graphically they should be completely separate)

    what i mean is how come there is no different kind of barbarian that perhaps is alil weaker atk wise, but lets say has 2x atk when they hit walls (not that they would specifically target walls, just when it was time to move on, they'd hit walls with 2x atk)
    or perhaps a longer range archer, iirc AQ has a longer range than regular archers, so why not a troop with the same range as AQ but less hp and atk (to balance it) ??

    has SC said why there is no variations on existing troops?

    TO CLARIFY SINCE I KNOW PEOPLE OFTEN MISS THE CONTEXT, this is not a thread promoting the above alterations, this is a thread to ask why atm there is not more diversity in troops thats perferm a certain task, more options would lead to a better game play no?

    i like the idea of something like the starcraft zerg campaign where u can mutate your ♥♥♥♥ to do extra lol~

    I think the game is fine with the current level of troop diversity.

    Why do you need two kinds of archers, or two kinds of Barbs?

    Too many different troops would over complicate the game imo.

    That being said I would like to see a completely new Dark Troop added to the game, but it should be a unique troop, not a slight twist on an existing troop.

    I like the idea of different "settings" for defenses and troops (much like the xbow and inferno). Obviously it has to be carefully balanced, but it could hopefully create a wider choice of strategies.

    This is a semi-casual Mobile Gaming App.

    This isn't WoW or LoL, where you can have hundreds of variety in whatever your doing.

    This is meant to be a simple mobile strategy game.

    It succeeded in it's available diversity (compared to other mobile games) and it's simplicity.

    troop diversity?

    Archers and wizards are similar.
    Dragons and minions are somewhat comparable.

    discounting special abilities:
    giants and hogs are too...
    pekka and valks...

    Because that doesn't add anything to the game but clutter. Having the same troop with slightly more or less damage or hp doesn't give the game more diversity for any productive purpose other than to just add more ♥♥♥♥. If there ever was so excited variation in the game I think it should come from heroes, not troops.

    Oh I got it. I'm just pointing out the lack of need for variable stats or whatever the hell.
