*Donating (or trading) resources or gems to (with) other players
*An exchange building to convert between elixir, gold, dark elixir, or gems
*Assign multiple builders to one build/upgrade
*Upgradeable builders’ huts – lvl 2 huts for a 5% time decrease?
*Player search function
*Ability to change village name
*Active/ Live “Online Status” examples: colored icons, on/off indicator, etc.
*Indicate last online date
*Remove the “Report” button/feature from global chat. Abused too often, and mute is better solution

I understand it has been ruled out - but has anyone ever stopped to really explain WHY some of these are ruled out? Something like donating resources is obvious and I dont feel needs explanation.

But why would something like being able to change your clan name, or your user name, be a problem for ♥♥? Not trying to be rude here - but what's it to them if people want to change either name?

Trust me I want to change mine because my kid sister named my village after I left my iPad open for 2 mins. A mistake on my part.

I asked Super Cell on their facebook page a while ago to why we can't change our names. The only response I got back was 'Because they wouldn't know who you are Chief!' I quote.

I have no idea what the real reason is but if Super Cell would ever reconsider I would be grateful. I hate my name.

Thats a pretty lame excuse. What I often call a false wall. Meaning its put there to sound valid but in reality has no merit.

The biggest reason most games don't allow name changing is because of the trolling aspect of it.

Games that allow name changes tend to charge a heavy real dollar costs to it. Which personally I'm not opposed to. Someone wants to change their names? $20 a name change. I can live with that and it prevents it from being something overly used, especially for the sake of trolling.

I guess I am ignorant or naive here but how does change your name translate to trolling? In this context I dont get what that even means. I understand what trolling is in general - but not clue how that related to this discussion.

Charging to change your name, in any game is scummy. First, it shows the company can easily do it, and second is just taking advantage of their customers.
