    Lightbulb New dark troop ideas

    I know there are plenty of players that have an idea for a new dark troop but I thought I would just put my two cents in on troops that I think are missing from the game. Just so you know I didn't look up other players troop ideas to see if these ideas have been suggested already as there are probably thousand of ideas and there is no way I could check them all. I'm also not making stats for these units as there is no way for me to guess as to what would be balanced.

    #1 The Pathfinder; I imagine this unit being a giant goblin(maybe an Orc) whose favourite target is walls doing 2x damage to walls, preferably walls that connect to more than one section, and would try an make a path to the storages. This units could have either one or both of these abilities. 1) he sets off traps but only takes half damage from bombs and spring traps do no damage 2) when the pathfinder dies he drops 5-15 baby goblins(who are super excited!) and do 3x damage to resources. 3) the pathfinder leaves a trail of goblin stink that other goblins will follow(so ignoring the collectors that are closer to where the goblins were intentionally placed ). The job of the pathfinder is to do a similar job as a wall breaker and giant and goblin put together. It would break through walls, set off a few traps while making a path to the storages and hopefully when he dies he is near the storages and the baby goblins he drops steal some resources or drop your own goblin troops to follow the path to the resources. I thought of this unit because there is only one goblin unit and I would love for there to be more ways for people to get loot and make goblins more useful at later town hall levels. Also I'd just like to say I'd imagine this unit to be tanky, slow moving and slow attacking.

    #2 Mercury; this is a buff troop, this is a flying troop who has a connection with 1-5 different troops and makes these troops have an increased movement speed by 30% and increased attack speed by 50% (or whatever's balanced lol). The unit would probably be small and have a yellowish glow and have what looks like a yellow line connecting mercury and the units he's buffing. The name mercury is base off the Greek mythology for being being very swift as he was a messenger of the gods. I feel like we need some sort or buff troop similar to the healer, and I felt like increasing attack speed and movement speed wouldn't overlap to much with the rage spell. This troop would also need some sort of double effect in the game to make it worthy of being a dark troop so maybe it could be like a flying archer *cough*cough* minions *cough*cough* and shoot ranged arrows at enemy structures\units OR for a more specialized attack it could do the opposite of its buff to enemy clan castle troops. So in simple terms mercury would make a few of your troops move and attack faster as well as have a ranged attack that shoots arrows or have an AOE attack that only hits enemy clan castle troops making the enemy troops move slow and attack slower(the stats for this would be half of the buff, so 15% slowed movement speed and 25% slowed attack speed). I feel like a new buff troop would help make new troop compositions, as well as I've seen people ask for some sort of new troop or defensive building that only targets enemy clan castle troops.

    so those are my ideas for new dark elixir troops, a tanky goblin that makes paths for goblins and other troops and a new buff troop that makes your units move and attack faster as well as make the enemy clan castle troops move and attack slower when they are in range. The two troops I described above would also work very well with each other. I hope I made it detailed enough without confusing everyone. Thanks for reading
