you can make the same argument about the whole clan war system tho, a leader doesn't need your permission to start a war, you log on and surprise 2 hrs till war begins, nature of the system.

I love it but I have an addition to the idea. All members in the war have to hit the ready button on both sides of the clan. Otherwise, the leader could just hit ready while the rest of the clan is getting ready.

I don't really believe the game needs this. You understand SC and players have been discussing Clans Wars for quite awhile and this was probably an idea brought forth at one point, right? At CoC's Clan War's current rate and effectiveness, SC wouldn't make any more money or players happy with this feature. Like others have stated, the leaders could be pressured or stressed to push the ready button, and if they didn't people may decide to leave the clan. The time zone balances with Clan Wars could also be thrown off. There's a lot of factors to consider with this idea, and there would also be many risks.

well one thing to consider is a clan doesn't have to use it. If its a full time 24/7 war clan (like mine) we would be using it non stop. But some other clan may just say naa its not something our members would be interested in, and not use it for clans with the concerns you stated above.

What would be a nice addition is to give the leader in each clan a button "Ready to War" during the prep time, if both clans press the ready to war button, the prep time ends early and the 24hr war begins. If both clans are ready to war early, why not let them instead of having to sit around waiting. I often find my self with 6 hrs left, already trained a 2.5hr war party so i just log until war time instead of wasting it on a rg raid and having to make it again. Would be nice to start early if everyones ready.

if only one clan presses the button, the prep will not end early, when the timer runs down war stars as normal.

as a slight optional safeguard, you could only allow this if all ward ccs are filled.

just a small addition that could make some of us a little happier with the process!
    This is BRILLIANT

I don't know what clans u belong to, but every clan I've been in wars on a set schedule. There is no "suprise".

Yes, this would be great to have! I actually was going to create a thread about this, but I always search up my suggestion topic first.

Yes! It'd be a lot more awesome if everyone could take a poll/click a ready button, and do that for many other things, but I don't think Supercell would ever implement that. I'm pretty sure I've seen somewhere they won't put in things like polls atm.

    Nice in principle but...

Its a nice idea in principle but its open to being abused, causing clan drama and lets face it, we all know how long prep day is and we all work to that, starting our wars accordingly. I say it's fine as it is

Better than logging on and finding out you missed clan war and both attacks because you didnt know prep day only lasted an hour. You thought you had 23 more hours to attack.

As is now i can log in and see "ok 23 hours til war starts" and prepare for it. I may not log on for another 25 hours to do my attacks. In the world as suggested, I would no longer be able to predict and plan such actions.
