I am not asking to upgrade builder huts to add any new ability, it would just be nice to be able to spend some loot to make the builder hut look different. They look the same from the very beginning, I think people would pay to have the builder hut facade look different just like they buy flags and statues.

If their look got upgraded, people would complain and say that "if their look is enhanced, why isn't their ability to upgrade things faster enhanced? They have clearly upgraded, so they should become stronger or faster at building things."
This is why SC has never upgraded the look of either builders or their huts; they don't want to give false impressions.

Then put it undere the decorations part of the shop. No one expects decorations to have abilities.
alternatively the hut could just change its look some with each th upgrade just like the th changes its look.
