Wow another Hero Fail

my first war attack my AQ is attacking the TH and the Barb King comes and the AQ switches targets for the Barb king who isnt attacking her and never goes back after the TH

Then on the second attack

AQ is attacking a Gold storage, and barb king comes up to her and beats her to death as shes attacking the gold storage

Why so inconsistent!!!!!!!!

All they need to do it hit CTRL+Z and the heros would be fixed.

I just experienced the frustration of this phenomenon.

My AQ was attacking the TH with a row of wall in between them. When a cannon started to attack AQ, I activate the AQ ability. My AQ immediately change target from the TH to a wall. Needless to say, it cost me a star.

I know I'm late to the party, but I'm hoping someone affiliated with SC is still monitoring this thread. There are a bunch of AI problems plaguing this game. I sincerely hope this next update is taking so long because they are trying to fix these issues.

1. Queen not attacking the right targets. - There has been enough evidence of this in this thread already. It happens on a majority of attacks.

2. Not being able to attack the heroes when placing troops. - I throw down 30 barbs and archers but they dont want to attack the queen, they just want to attack the army camp. If you are going to make the heroes stationary objects, do your homework and make all of my units that I put down attack them. Don't make them helpless idiots and get slaughtered by heroes. This doesn't make ANY sense.

3. Troops targeting buildings that are farther away than the closest building. - Evidence that something is wrong with general troop AI.

4. Not being able to attack the CC troops. - Guys attack building instead of attacking CC troops. Doesnt happen often.

4a. Let wizards attack a new target without starting their attack over if their original target dies. There was a recent thread about this, and this too, makes no sense. It's possible to have a ton of wizards die from a handful of archers because they don't actually fire at a unit for 20 seconds. Not sure if the physics of the game allow for better offensive troop attacking CC troops function, but look into that.

5. Wall breakers going crazy and blowing up the closest wall. - Really now?

6. Small miscellaneous problem. - Had a wizard shoot at a wizard tower as the last unit and last building in a clan war. Wizard died while his bolt (that would have destroyed the wiz tower) was in midair en route to destroy the wiz tower. Now if I had an archer left in my inventory, I would have won, however, time went to 0 because my last troop died. Got robbed of a star. This is somewhat of an isolated incident, but goes against the spirit of the game.

Ha! you haven't seen my heroes..once, my king targeted a wall, and right before he destroyed it he moves on to another wall. He did that on 3 walls costing me a star .Tbh Supercell needs to either turn the queen blonde too, or improve both the king and queen AI (including the movement)

I have seen the AQ choose to attack the furthest item therefore resulting in a death.
