Previews!
For example, have you ever thought that X-Bows cost too much and you want to see if it's worth it? Why not watch it in action with Joshokitty's new idea to improve buying in the shop.
Who would want to buy something they don't want?
YouTube is a thing but why not have it conveniently in-game?
There would be a preview of the item in action!
The icon that says "X-Bow" would have a little "Watch Preview" in the bottom right corner. It will show the description in the bottom half (stats, price etc.) and the animation in the upper half. The animation will include a Barbarian getting shot by the X-Bow.
And this preview isn't just for defenses... imagine resources too!
For example, an elixir collector gaining elixir in it's vat as an animation.
And the possibilities are almost endless! If you can put it in your base there is a preview for it.
Decorations will show their movement (flags swing, weather vanes turn etc.) if any.
Army items, for example, the barracks would show a Barbarian coming out of it. An Army Camp will show a barbarian entering it. Laboratory will show itself glowing. Spell Factory will show itself brewing. Barbarian King will show it attacking, sleeping, and defending by hitting a Barbarian (same for AQ).
