A couple months ago I took a 7-day sabbatical from my clan. I suggested to my clan I would leave, take my seven day shield, then return. They didn't want me to leave.

Problem is we are a warring group. Therefore, my attacks would go un-addressed for seven days and the enemy had a chance of getting 3 more stars.

If I take a seven day shield, it would make sense to be able to un-participate in wars for the next 7 days, too. Maybe that's another 100 gems to do so?
