    i am sure of what I said bcz in the videos introducing clan wars it was said that u won't be in war unless u r searching

    So here is my simple solution:

    Make it so wars only start every 2, 4, or 6 hours. Why has nobody thought of this already!?

    This would greatly increase the number of clans in the pool when match-ups were made. Thus increasing the probability of fair match-ups. I don't know anybody that would trade quicker matching for less chances at fair matches! Simple SC! Just do it!

    It should be very simple to change the searching screen to one that said "competitors are being assembled next war starts in XX minutes"

    I also think that there should be no canceling! If your not ready too bad! wars last 2 days! That is 2 days of planning for the next war! but maybe they could add an option to see when the next war starts before you commit to it.

    They could even add an option to automatically be part of the next war to start while the current war is still going on so clans don't have to wait a few hours in between. this would also help clans that like to follow a schedule.

    Sorry i did not find your post originally. I did a thorough search for this type of solution before i posted. I would have happily given credit where it is due. I think it is more important that we make make SC aware of this.

    Is there a better explanation of how they do the match ups somewhere? all i can find is their lame vague thread about how defenses and offenses are important.

    That quote is sort of taken out of context. I was replying to Gadzair who was saying that a larger pool allows better match making so I replied that pool doesn't really matter because it's the boardening of the acceptable targets that cause mismatches. Besides, it'd be more convenient if match making was simply very narrow in the beginning and doesn't widen as much as it does currently

    Edit: Now that I've read your post, the first paragraph does point to this OP Interesting resolution
