I would like to put it forward to the individuals of the SkyBears clan that we amend the current rule of Archers only as default to Archers, wizzards and dragons. This Is because wizzards and dragons are excellent at defending bases due to the spash damage that they hit. They can wipe out groups of tier 1 troops in 1 hit meaning they can annihilate Barbarians, Archers & goblins with relative ease compared to archers. They are therefore preferable to archers in terms of troop donation preference.
I believe that the proposed change would be a benefit to the clan as currently we have to ask requesters if they would like to receive dragons or wizzards, and by the time they can reply the donation has already been fulfilled. This means that in particular dragons can not be given. People also like to receive dragons and wizzards as they are a more powerful troop when attacking. Please consider my proposal,

I have had this idea since I have started Skybears, but wasn't sure if that was realiseable since they take so long to produce. The main idea is that we are a trophy hunting/high level farming clan. Thus we encounter a lot of strong enemies. The firepower of Wizzys and dragons are amazing and help us reaching the FULL DESTRUCTION!

So therefore my vote on this proposal is definitely a yes.

That being said, it is important to point out that because of the high elixer cost of dragons and wizards, members should still expect to receive archers as default. If someone is generous enough to donate higher cost troops, awesome. Members are free to request any troops they want, but they need to keep in mind that the donor is the one shelling out the elixer...

I am not a serious trophy hunter myself so I have less interest in the donation requirements wanted by trophy hunters. Although I have enjoyed the odd round of trophy hunting, a change to wizards, dragons and archers as a default would be enough to dissuade me from remaining in the clan as an active trophy hunter myself, since I have yet to see any benefit such a change would make and I see many downsides to this proposal.

I also seriously think that such a mixed donation bag would have a serious effect upon clan harmony, with some members being annoyed that they can no longer count on archers as the default. I fear the rate of donations would decrease and the problem of donation hanging would become a major problem. But that is just my opinion as a casual trophy hunter. Perhaps you serious trophy hunters see things a lot differently than I.

Speaking as Guardian of Skybears, if this proposal can attract the support of over half the Skybears membership then it shall pass, I will not veto it. However I will not accept proxy votes on this issue. If members feel strongly enough to change the donation requirements to what Alex has proposed then they must post here on this thread to have their vote counted.
