when you've maxed your defense, walls, troops, the lot

Max out your defenses at least, especially Teslas before going to TH9.
Your device, your CoC account, your style of playing. Up to you really....
But if I were you, I would max defenses and purple walls and pink elixir lab upgrades first

one thing i would say. just max everthing before going to th 9 ;/.........
When you max-out everything at Town Hall 8.
Id recommend going th9 once you have completely maxed th8 including your level 8 walls, it will make life alot easier when you reach 9.

When TH8 isn't as much fun anymore as it used to be. However if you're in it for the long run and want to max TH10 someday, I'd suggest you max TH8.
