I will explain how to farm and how to trophy push with balloonions
Trophy pushing
Bases to not attack:
This is an example of an anti balloonion base, as you can see, the air defense cover every part of the base. Also, notice that the x bows are pointed up, the x bows can make the difference between a win and a loss
This is another example of an anti air base, the air defenses reach everywhere, also since it is 100% symmetrical there are No weak sides. Also note that there is air coverage everywhere.
Bases to attack:
All air defenses are exposed and easy to get to and all aireal defenses are only behind the first layer of wall (excluding wizard towers)
Look for bases with upgrading air defenses, air defenses play a major role in defense against balloonions.
I only reccomend balloonions to people who have balloons lvl 6 however level 5 is viable.
TH9 - 220 Troop Capacity - 50 minions
24 Balloons
CC - Full of minions or a drag
TH10 - 240 Troop Capacity - 50 minions
28 balloons
CC - Full of Balloons or a Drag
Reccomended spells - Rage, Freeze and lightening
Since balloonion has a lot lower cook time than other strategies ,(GoWiPe, GoWiWi, Mass Drags etc.) Your main goal is to get 50%, that is why many non-gemmers in champs and masters use balloonions, they just boost their barracks and spell factory and raid.
Step 1) Try to pick off buildings with your minions
Step 2)Clear out some defenses with your balloons, this will leave the area more open to your minions.
Step 3) If it becomes necessary deploy freeze and rage. If CC troops come out, then use your lightening spell, it's not worth spending troops.
Step 4) Keep doing this until you get 50%
Step 5) If magically, you don't manage to get to 50%, then drop your hereos and clan castle
Farming
Bases not to attack:
Bases with loot between 0 and 200 000, this is not your average barch or BAM army, you spent 35 minutes cooking this army, and you want some big loot.
You see those wizard towers of death in the middle? Yup, those things will destroy you, NEVER attack these sort of bases.
Bases to attack :
A lot of loot, and its easy to get to.
Premmie bases with a lot of loot
TH9 Composition - 50 Minions
24 Balloons
TH10 Composition - 50 Minions
28 Balloons
Recommended spells - Rage, lightening and freeze
Step 1) Find a base
Step 2) Make a U-Circle on the side which the loot is closer.
Step 3)Rage your balloons
Step 3) Once all of your balloons have died, follow up with some minions.
Step 4) Keep releasing minions until you find one that gets to the loot.
Step 5) Enjoy your loot!
