Thanks so much for all those answers. I read post 1 (3 times, I am a little bit of a flake so I try to balance that with some focused attention) and post number 2, the TT thread, once. It looks like now is a good time to get my captains achievement, when my boats are simple!
anyway, my question is this. Are those hours (9-12:30, 7pm-8:30, 10:30-1am) enough to get captain? I guess they must be. After all, most people have jobs, right?
If you are going to go longer than 4 hours, you can shut down HD and your boat will not arrive until you re-open the app. This only works when the boat is out at sea! What many people do after sending a boat is to look at what their next boat needs (click on the dock), queue those items, and then close the app. Of course you also have at least 15 hours to fill your boat, so you can just allow the boat to arrive in 4 hors and then work on filling it (just don't forget about it, if you do and it leaves unfilled, you start back at zero!!!)
What we ask is that whether you need help or not, you report in here after you send off your boat and give us an update on your next boat. Every time please give boat number, cargo needed (and any shortages you know you will have) and number of hours until you anticipate the boat will arrive. (Times do not work well, we are from all over the world.)
When your boat arrives and you need help, please post here with boat number, quantities of cargo needed, and supplies on hand. If you need help with only 3 crates, please open them, if you need more help, we can assist you with deciding which crates to open and then sell you the remainder.
