The the answer to my question is probably somewhere in one of the many posts about the captain III achievement but I haven't found it yet....

I am desperately trying to achieve the achievement but I am wondering since it is possible to delay the arrival of the boat by closing down the app - will closing down the app when the boat has arrived already stop the clock from ticking?

Closing the app will only stop the boat from coming in on time, once it is in.......ya got to go deal with it.

I saw your friend request and accepted it. I read the first page and think I understood most of it!

My thought was to try and get the capttain III achievement before I got to too high a level (and dito machines) and have now finished 10 boats.

My 11th boath is about to arrive in 27 minutes and will contain hamburgers, buttered popcorn and blue sweaters.

I have 5 sweaters, 3 burgers and 3 popcorns and the machines are working hard...

What do I need to do now?

I saw your friend request and accepted it. I read the first page and think I understood most of it!

Welcome!! This is a nice easy boat!! When your boat comes in, please post here and give the boat number, the cargo needed (item, number of crates, quantity in crate), and then if you want advice about what crates to open, tell us what items you have and will have soon. (If it is obvious which crates to open then just do it!!)

Once your opened crates are filled, we will sell you whatever you need to fill your boat. Have you traded before? We use the "one wheat in last stall" to sell to you.

Please expect a few more friend requests, we have a big team!!

What do mean by boat number? I haven't noted that boats were numbered yet. Maybe my poor English (I am from the Netherlands).

Yes, there are good things about doing Captain III at a lower level. But some people get a double (or triple) sugar boat!! EEEK!

If you check the white main house, you see at the Captain III achievement the number of boats you already have done. Probably says 9/12 at your house, since you earlier said this would be your 10th boat.

And maybe you were lucky. Did you already have sugar are cream boats? Those are usually the ones people can't make alone and need help with, or worse, fail the Captain achievement and have to start over again. Not only because of the high quantities but also because those products are hard to find in the newspaper.

Ok there it is -

The boat asks:

3 * 3 buttered popcorn ( I have 4)
3 * 2 blue sweaters ( I have 5)
3 * 2 burgers ( I almost have 4)

Pls advise what to do.

I guess I need help on the popcorn (2 crates) and a burger or sweater crate?
