I read on the Tesla wiki that they automatically will pop up after 51% damage has been done on a base.
Well, that should clear it up.

Welcome. I haven't really seen it happen as most bases usually put their Teslas within the base.

Yes it pops out soon as the base is destroyed by 50%. Our clan has proven this since looking for the hidden tesla might give your base a chance not to be 3starred in clan wars.
It hides itself after revealing itself from u to deny u of that last %.
Nah like what the posters above me said. Once u drop the enemy base >50%, they will pop up revealing their location to u.

So putting Tesla in the corner can't prevent from being 3 starred. I was wrong.
