Hi, I am on old top player from a game calls modern war by Gree. I started playing CoC a few months back as a friend convinced me to try many many times. Well gree made it where u have to play 24/7 to stay in the top... Too much and drove me and many others away. I enjoy clash n the strategies so far. Now I've spent $1,000s on MW and is peanuts to some, many in that game spend $500-10k a month. Enough about that here's my questions if anyone has the answers. If there's already a link I apologize.

i noticed @th7 with L1 or 2 DE storage dark elixor was 600 gems for 10,000 coming out to about 16.6 DE a gem
i paused a YouTube video from someone with a L6 DE storage and it came out to about 36.6 a gem.
obviously u get more for your money if ur storages are maxed, the only thing making me think about raising THs. Right now I just started TH8 and haven't spent much real money because of this reason. Also I play a lot n have no problem getting gold elixor for the cheap upgrades ATM. What turn me away from upgrading TH is the loot reduction. I have buddy's that have played for a long time ones maxed out th9 besides walls and my girlfriends friends sister is in quantums web half the time. Small world. But if I rush th I will be able to get more for my buck but not as much from raids... I'm not looking to dump $5,000 in this game but was curious to know these formulas and make my decision.
On a side note.. As this is the only app I have now and will prob end up going overboard like the last game I played for 2.5years. Is there a gem bonus program? And if not Mabey supercell should consider. Let me give u am example. The last game i played was about 1/10 the "gems" 1500 gold was $99.00 US dollars but went on 20% off sale every 3-5 weeks and once in a great while 40%... Use that with 15-25% off iTunes cards n it helps. However the had different "teirs" the total amount b4 tax in one month... $500 get u 2500 free gold, $1,000 got u 15,000 free gold, $2,000 got u 50,000 free gold. But it had to all be spent in a calendar month. Idk what was $10k I think 150,000 gold and choice of a unit...
