Need help!

Hey so I bought some gems, and I upgraded my Town Hall, from level 6 to level 8...
Yes, I didn't realize how stupid this was until it was too late.

Anyways, now I'm stuck with Town hall 8, weak defences, weak army, bad matchmaking.
Im wondering what the quickest way without spending more gems would be to even my base out, or fix this.

What should I do? Thanks!

Get your barch troops up to lvl 5 ASAP and just keep hitting bases you think you can 50%...but that might be hard if you only have TH6 troops. I wouldn't worry about defenses right now, just focus on getting your army farming capable. That includes upgrading barracks and camps.

Thanks, so I should completely disregard the level 1 defence buildings I've unlocked? Skip upgrades on my storages? Until my troops are up to par for TH8?

if u have lvl 3 troops then upgrade ur Barbs,archers, wbs to at least lvl4 and then farm around 1200-1300 trophy range . U still have access to TH7 with 10% loot penalty .. i'm myself a TH7 and its not that hard to farm TH7s with lvl 4 troops and never expect to win any defenses , as soon as u get back to farming get ur new defensive buildings to TH6 lvl first , Then upgrade d others , U gotta play long sessions( 3 to 4 hours constantly without logging off ) bcz u can't save ur recs from raiding .. good luck

Edit: forgot about camps , upgrade d camps as soon as possible , it will be hard for u to 50% a well upgraded TH7 with 150-170 troops space but still try to pick weak bases

you could use a farming base too so that you get hit with TH snipes instead of resource raids more often. Its not fool proof but typically 9/10 defenses are TH snipes leaving my loot untouched.

I think you should upgrade your troops, and get lower on trophies. It should help you get stronger, but it will take some time.
