What to spend my gems on?

I have 1,800 gems. I have all 5 builders huts, and I just want to know what to speed up :P
Any tips?

Should I gem my lab, barracks to level 10, dark barracks to level 3, ect.

Nope don't gem anything, it's a waste.
Don't buy resources or time.

Boost hero's, Spell factory and if you want baracks.

Personally, I'd use them to speed up spell factory, royalty, and maybe a barrack or two and go on farming runs in 2 hour blocks.

While pushing to Champion, I've been using 40 gems at a time... it adds up over a week or so clan trophy push.

Boost your BK and AQ, boost your barracks and spell factory so you can raid quickly and get lots of loot.

Explanation:

Say you have 6 lvl11 gold mines.

2*3000=6000 (amount of gold per hour*2=amount of gold per hour w/ boost)
6000*24=144,000 (amount of gold per hour w/ boost*24=amount of gold per day w/ boost)
144,000*6=864,000 (amount of gold per day w/ boost*amount of mines=amount of gold per day from 6 mines w/ boost)
11*6=66 (amount of gems*6=amount of gems to boost 6 mines for 24 hours.

Therefore with boosting, you can gain 864,000 gold with 66 gems. Compared to the shop, that's a HUGE profit.

I'd boost my barracks an just grind until I have a ton of loot.

I don't boost a whole lot, and school is starting soon. So by the end of the summer I will probably still have like 1,200-1,400 gems. What should I spend those on BESIDES boosting?

Gem your lab and boost your barracks. My reasoning for the lab is that the gain is twofold: One, you get another builder. And two, you can start upgrading your troops faster. All other gems? Boosting barracks, there's really nothing else.
