    New Troop: Catapult

    Name of Troop: Catapult
    Training Cost: 10 000 Gold & 10 000 Elixer
Training Time (Building time): 30 sec
    Housing Space: 0
Damage per second: 50 area splash (x 20 walls)
    Hit Points: 2000
    Movement Speed: 0
Description: When attacking the catapult can be constructed on site via a builder. The catapult cannot move so placement will be key. With its long range (but slow firing rate) the catapult will be able to reach far into enemy territory causing massive damage to defensive structures.

this is a great idea, but I have one question. would the amount of catapults you have be the same as the amount of builders you have?

Due to the amount of space, or lack thereof, I was thinking to limit players to one, adding one every few levels your town hall increases. We have to keep in mind that Supercell will need to come up with some sort of counter for the catapult....

can you aim the catipult? or will it attack randomly?
    will it attack walls?
or focus walls first like a bomb? than attack nearest left over building.
only down fall could be op with some layouts would make you second guess where you put your storages

The catapult will almost be like suicide bombers: First focusing on the closest wall and surronding defensive structurs (splash damage; trying to create a pathway for your troops), before auto aiming on the next wall and its surrounding defences.

It's job will not be to destroy the enemy from afar, but rather to assist and give some much needed support especially when trying to hit higher leveled bases.

This is open for for ideas as I feel the more input we get, the more "practical" the unit.

I believe this will be fun to add and its applications could be explored by (this is funny) either using the catapult to assist in the attack as described above or by having it launch units to the middle of a base so they parachute down. Hahaha
