It wouldn't matter if the war started at 3 4 or 5 am because if you do what your supposed to in war and you have 24 hours to battle then it shouldn't make a difference. You'll still have time to get all your battles in and the outcome will not make a difference when the battle starts. Also getting attacked and losing cc troops to an attacker while you're in a war is no different than it is now regardless of the time it starts.

If in case the war starts at an unforseen time due to an opponent having an advantage of when it starts is ludicrous because you still have 24 HOURS to attack. Even if they do get a head start on attacking and jump out to a big lead does that mean your little feelings get hurt and ya go hide in a corner til its over...uhh no ... don't know about anyone else but I'm gonna do as I always do and put the hurt on someone's village and get as many stars as I can and as I know my clan will as well. Faced with adversity you either MAN UP or lay down.
So what you're saying is that we should have a clan ready button so that Clan Wars can be harder?

If I go to sleep at 12pm and war starts at 4am...you don't have 24 hours to attack... you have 16 hours (12pm-4am or *whenever you decide to wake up lost, 12pm -4am lost)

Now if I declare war at 8pm, wait 24 hours, War starts at 8pm next day, I attack at 9pm. I NOW HAVE 23 HOURS TO ATTACK 1 ONE MORE TIME!!!

    Which one is better?

    1. 16 hours for 2 attacks

    2. 23 hours for 1 attack.
