Just a fun idea, maybe the Pekka statue and Golem statue is used to defend your base... you can only have one of each unlocked both at Town Hall 9. The statues take up 2x2 spaces. When an enemy attacks and units approach a small radius of the statue (maybe 3-4?) the statue becomes their respective unit. The base of the statue remains there but the unit on top comes to life and begins to defend the village. Both these units have lots of HP so they can be used to tank attacking Wizard and Heroes. The stats are the same for the respective level of troop they represent.
You can upgrade them like any other defensive structure, each have five levels. The level one PEKKA statue will have a level 1 PEKKA on top... the level two statue has level 2... same with the Golem (and so on). The statue level is independent of the troop level you use for attacking. (If you have level 4 PEKKA and your statue is level two, the PEKKA defending is still level 2.) After they are taken out in defence they will take 45 minutes regenerate at level 1, and you have to pay the price of the unit to reactivate it. (e.g 450 DE for Golem level 1). At every level increase, the regen time increases by 15 minutes and the cost increases to the price of the respective unit level. Regenerating is manual, so you will have to do it like re-arming a trap. The unit from the statue will behave like a hero and will not move out of their radius even when brought to life.
The base of the statue remains there all the time unless destroyed in battle. It is similar to a Barbarian King or Queen Altar, except the unit remains fixed onto the statue base. If the statue is inactive or regenerating the statue base will be empty when an attacker attacks the base. If the statue base is destroyed, the unit is automatically unleashed from the statue and will wander around the trigger radius of the statue (similar to king and queen).
The PEKKA and Golem both have a ton of hitpoints and will be great for delaying attackers approach. The PEKKA deals massive damage per attack so engaging with heroes/other PEKKAs is a bad idea. Attacking PEKKAs with infantry is most effective. The Golem is much more tanky but deals very little damage. The Golem explodes and becomes Golemites as usual so do not let too many infantry troops kill it at once or they will be exploded. The statue counts as a "random" structure and will not be targeted by Balloons, Hogs etc. The unit itself can be targeted automatically by Hogs/Balloons though, because they count as defensive. Air units are unaffected by either statues, and will not trigger them. The Golem is very good against hogs because they attract Hog Riders and bunch them up and explode on death, killing them.
The PEKKA statue is removed from the decorations section and placed in defences section. The statues build instantly (like the King and Queen).
This is just a fun idea i wanted to share with you guys... I don't think it will be implemented as it could upset the balance of the game but I thought it was cool and would make a good addition to the game. Let me know what you guys think, and any way to balance it.
