    Mercenaries in Clash of Clans

    IF YOU DO NOT THINK THIS WILL WORK PLEASE POST WHY. YOUR OPINION IS APPRECIATED.


    I think Supercell should implement a system of "mercenaries" into the game.

    Basically, a mercenary camp will appear every week or so. It will allow to train troops that will let you attack a person without them knowing know it was you attacked them. You however, would still get the resources. You would pay the mercenaries gold in exchange for their help.

    In depth:
    The camp would appear in the flora surrounding the base. It would have troops that function like regular troops except they would look different. These troops would have the same stats as our normal troops with same level.(If you had level 5 archers the crossbowman would have the same stats as lvl 5 archers). The troops would cost 25% more gold than the elixir is in the regular barracks.(250 gold instead of 200 elixir). They would attack a base as usual. It would only happen once a week so it wouldn't be to overpowered. A minor con is that the enemy can't revenge you. This system would implement another use for gold. Mercenaries would take up the same space as regular troops and go in the same army camps. Mercenaries will stay in base for 24 hours so you can't hoard them. If you could hold 200 space in the camps you could train 200 housing space worth of mercenaries. You would see your mercenaries below the regular troops in the army camps.

    Example:
    Berserker instead of barbarian, crossbowman instead of archer, etc.


    If you had up to dragons there would mercenary dragons. This system helps if you no elixir and need to attack a base.

    Amazing original idea! Love the way you presented the thread. Does this apply to th level and or any other things. I don't know what to say, you basically covered everything. Maybe could you give us an exact time cycle?

    Sorry but there isn't much of a point. The only difference between this and normal attacking is it costs gold and people cant revenge you. I like that its an original idea but I don't think it should be added. Welcome to the forums by the way

    It would start at town hall 5. Also, The mercenaries would come once a week and stay for 24 hours. If you hadn't attacked/hired them in 24 hours, they will leave. YOU MAY ONLY ATTACK ONCE WITH THEM.

    One thing I thought up; what if they became clan castle troops when 'hired'?

    Costs remain higher, and there's still the fadeaway after 24 hours (or less?), but there's now there's a reason not to just fill your troop camps with mercenaries when you're hunting for elixir.
