Most of the sale event games does not have as many potential game play hours as SuperCell. CoC isn't a game that a normal person can finish (as in max) within a year. If SuperCell gives a sale, the people who pays a lot will take advantage of it and by like a year supply's worth and horde it for when needed. Sales also causes people not to spend until there's another sale so that could cause some problems for SuperCell
Still, they could put an expiration on the gems to reduce the problem a bit. It would be interesting to see people buy the Chest of Gems, rush TH levels, and quit though
Clash is a top growing and rated game.
I've gone I depth discussing why sales wont work and why they won't be creating one anytime soon.
