BARCH in my experience is the best, but it comes down to preference. If you aren't having fun by grinding out the walls then don't. This is a game, the point is to have fun.

Don't force yourself to farm them if you find it is boring. Don't delay your TH8 upgrade just for that.

I know how you felt, the 200k looks menacing but it's pathetically easy to max all lvl 7 walls. The second you have 200k gold just spend it on walls if you're farming walls, it will take a while but in a day you'll get at least 10 done if you did it well
