Best attack strategy TH8

Hi all,

Im wondering what some good strategies I can do for clan wars as a TH8.

So you know what my troops are:

Archer lvl 5
Barb lvl 5
Wizards lvl 5
Giants lvl 4
Healer lvl 2 (currently upgrading to lvl 3)
Dragons lvl 2
Wall breakers lvl 4
Balloons lvl 3
Hogs lvl 1
Minions lvl 1
(barracks upgrading for)Pekka lvl 1

Rage, heal and lightning spell lvl 4

Barb king lvl 3 (trying to get to level 5 currently).

What are some attacks you think would be useful for attack TH8s and TH9s for trying to hopefully 3 star but at very least 2 star if I do it correctly. I am working on doing a Pekka, healer, giant and wizard attack when my barracks finishes upgrading.

And what troops should I look to upgrade to do some other attacks I perhaps cant pull off just yet with my troop levels. I am planning on upgrading hogs when I get barb king to level 5.

Best attacks at th8 are mass dragons and mass hogs. I would level up your dragons before hogs. Dragons will be more consistent for a win regardless of skill level. With practice you can three star most other th8 with lvl 3 dragons and max rage. Th9 you can probably 2 star most times, three if it's a preemie or bad design. Hope this helps.

upgrade your dragons and that is your best army comp, 11 dragons with 3 rage spells.

Thank you! I will upgrade my dragons to level 3 next.

Is there any other attacks besides all out dragons & hogs? I only have one barracks that can make dragons so it would be nice to have an option (besides hogs because they are currently just level 1).

Mass dragon from my experience during our clan wars. It's fun watching 30 TH8 3-star'ing each other with the same strategy...

P.S This army takes less if you balance it out right in your barracks. Guaranteed 2 stars each raid.
