Should I go to th9?

Ok so I know I'm ready to pull the trigger building wise, I just have one more tesla to start the level 6 upgrade on, about 40 walls left to do, and traps left to upgrade. But my concern is my lab, my dark troops are pretty low level and this worries me because I know hogs, balloonion, GoWiPe, and GoWiWi are key strategies to use in the future. What would you guys do? I feel dark elixir is easier to get and keep at th9 with 2 lvl 6 drills and a stronger army, but I would also have to worry about the archer queen at th9. Also, I think the total lab upgrade time at th9 is shorter than at th8? So that would help me catch up. Please leave some advice. Thanks!

Well, another DE drill maxed is 2400 per day right? I assume you plan on Barching and BAMing at first? If you think about it, except for wars (if you do that) you're not going to be GoWi-anything-ing at first. Hogging is DE intensive as well, so probably not a good strategy with other DE upgrades to do.

I agree, I'd upgrade without a second thought. If not, you will just sit and sit on elixir.

You have the DE for the queen. You can save for the dual xbows. You have the elix for your lab.

Go, upgrade that TH.

DE is easy to farm with level 6 troops.

Don't worry too much about the dark troops. I don't use my level 6 minions anymore. I barely use my hogs anymore (8 in my farming army). But you will need to upgrade those golems.

Switch to DE farming.

I stayed at TH8 until absolutely everything was maxed, except my BK, which I left at L7. It was so easy to knock off rich TH7s, that I felt like it made sense to stay at TH8 finishing walls. It's also nice to have teslas fully upgraded, as they take forever. Personally, I would stay at TH8 until you can move to TH9 with full storages and sleeping builders at the ready, as you'll certainly want to put them to use immediately!
