I'm a huge fan of using bloonion, so I would say balloons. But if you aren't predisposed to a particular unit, max out rage.
Agreed, go with what you use the most out of your list. I'm not sure I'd go level 3 on pekka until you have golems unlocked for GoWipe. However, if you are close to 6 million elixir, this may be a viable choice.
I got all my really expensive troops done first and then did the rest. It put me behind on spells, but I survived it just fine. Now my spells are lvl 4 and I got nothing left in the lab except level 5 wallbreakers.
Personally, for me it would be a choice between balloons and pekka. I don't use healers except with hogs and wizard armies. I love loonian, but with level 5 you need level 3 and under air defense unless their placement sucks.
