Please make an individual Opt-out button for war!!

People leaving clans because they don't want to war, or people who don't attack in war and get kicked, are two things that have ripped clans apart since the implementation of wars onto Clash of Clans.

As a leader of a clan and feeder myself, I can say this has stressed me out. People go on vacations, people have things come up, or people just simply want a break from war. I hate telling them that they have to leave the clan every time this happens. An easy solution would be for them to Opt-out of clan wars until they come back or are ready to war again.

There have been times when our clan is down just a couple of stars and I look at the war map and there are a few people (who are on vacation, working a harder than usual work week etc...) who haven't attacked! Had they had a chance to deselect themselves from the war, someone who had the freedom to attack could have replaced him and we could have had a better chance to win the war.

I have a lot of loyal members, who have been in my clan since way before wars were implemented. Some of them don't like to war as often as we do. This option would allow them to be able to stay in my clan and participate in every other activity, and war when they feel like it.

This would also make things more competitive because the people Opting-in would truly want to war!!!

This is just a thought from me, and personally, this would make things a lot easier.
(I'm not sure if this has already been discussed. I don't have time to read thread after thread or search. My break is just about over.)

Although suggested many times, I still like the idea of this to be in the next update. However, I would change the way it is handled. As you suggested before, some people may be on vacation, taking a break, or whatever the case may be, they might not even log in to check their village (which means they could not "opt" themselves out). I would suggest for the Leader and/or Co-Leaders to be able to select any amount of individuals to go to war. Leave the "opting" to the Leader/Co-Leaders rather than individuals.

I strongly support OP: members should be able to opt in/out for wars. Our clan community is a big part of what makes this game so fun. Yet we have lost many longstanding members because they cannot participate in wars as often. It's a shame that a very cool new game feature (clan wars) is fracturing so many clans out there. This is a very easy fix and I have yet to see any reason not to implement. SC should get on this ASAP.
