You can try either my Optimus which is easy to reach one storage but hard to reach both storages, or the Spiral Sanctuary (images don't currently work so search in google images) which is hard to reach both storages but if they do, you lose it all :P
I'm almost a TH8 in a day or so. But when I was farming in silver I would bring in some loot but once I decided to go into gold III, I was getting really good raid with about 100k for low TH's and at least 200k+ for TH7+. But if your looking for a good base, you should look for some on the forums or build one on the base builder site. Also if your going to make a base, I suggest you make it irregular because I made the mistake of making my base symmetrical as possible, even on traps. Don't do that, the attacker will easily figure out where your traps are which is bad for you. So try to make your base unpredictable.
