Also, I noticed that people have voted in the poll and not commented: I'm sure Shield would really appreciate it if you told him/her why you voted what you did.

Thank you Ayyyyyema for my signature!

That is absolutely correct. I would appreciate it if people who voted "No" tells me why my system wouldn't work.

This wouldn't work because if this was implemented a high level person who wanted his building to be faster could make a ton of alternate accounts and get them past the level 30 limit within say 3 weeks and then make a clan with all of them and focus ALL of their resources on helping his builds. And don't say people wouldn't do this because they absolutely would. As Axion said, this is just too close to sharing the resource of time. Actually it's not too close, it is trading resources. You are giving the said person some loot which the game automatically turns into time. This is even more unbalanced and screwed up than straight up resource trading because at least with resource trading you aren't demolishing Clash of Clans' main commodity which is time.

Now that I'm done ranting, please listen to the overwhelming votes that say your idea isn't so great and let this idea fade away. And no, there are no edits you can make that would make this idea acceptable.

I agree with Axion. Although gold / elixir / dark elixir is not involved, time is. Time is a resource.

This idea is also rather similar to putting multiple builders onto one upgrade- getting help from people is a little like borrowing their builder.
The reason why Supercell ruled out assigning multiple builders onto one upgrade & sharing resources is because people would advance too fast, and supercell would make less profit. But, this system would not decrease supercell's profit, since people cannot advance that fast (22% faster building speed on only one building). And, it would make clans more meaningful, i.e. clan is not the place you get cc troops, but the place to get help. Also, more feature would attract more players, and if that feature involves others as well, wouldn't it give a significant increase in numbers of players?

Okay, say it takes 3 years to completely max out a town hall 10 (which I'm pretty sure it actually would take longer). 3 x 365 is 1,095. 22% of 1,095 is 241. If someone had full help it would save them 241 days of builders being worked. This is way too overpowered and will not be implemented.

I personally think this is a horrible idea. For one as pointed out by multiple people you are in effect, sharing resources. For another why would you want to get rid of the smaller clans; they tend to contain people who are friends outside of the game and so would work better than a clan of 50 random people from global. For another, although it may not look like much, a 22% decrease in time would eventually add up over the weeks and for the people who gem, it would cost less to do so. Therefore supercell makes less profit, meaning that this would never be added.

I under stand that my idea is not so great, but supercell can change the help system restrictions. For example, a person might only be able to help people whose level is not far away from him. And, your second paragraph is unnecessary. You do not have to rant (All I need is a feedback), and nobody said my idea isn't great (They just said it wouldn't work well.). Plus, I make edits on my posts, and it has nothing to do with you. If you think this idea is bad, then you shouldn't post here because you want it to "fade away." If I think of a tweak, I will add to this thread, and you will not be able to stop me.

Edit: In the OP, I said a "help" would cost more than 10%, let's say 15%, of the original upgrade. If somebody upgrades their air defense to lv6 (which costs 2.16m by the way), it is almost impossible for a lv 30 to afford 2.16m * 15% = 324k gold, especially when the lv 30 only gets the gold from gold mines.

If a clan is made of people who are friends in real life, it doesn't mean that nobody else should join that clan. In fact, if somebody else joins, they would get to make a new friend. And, if 22% is a number that is too big, I am welcome to change that to 10%, or perhaps 5%.

Then why not change that 22% to something lesser than 22%?

Edit: They only get the boost on one building, so unless that person is upgrading buildings one by one (by the way, this would take much longer), that number would be lower (like 50 days)

Edit 3: Changed 22% to 10%, due to complains.
