yit defends well against giant healer in my case.. early th8 here and currently using shuriken farming variation 2.
...well I'm a fan of the Tempest (modified early version), wich I am still using as a TH9
(been using it from G1 to M3, in three months only three-starred twice! about 100+ defencive wins) thx ORZ !!

dominion did not work at all for me. it looks good but only was able to fend off incompetent attacks or barch. any sort of giant attack went straight for the core, especially if they took down an air defense first and dropped healers.
Honestly I used shuriken for a long time before I found the layout of the AD can be exploited by giant healer if done perfectly. I'm using trapception now and have had outstanding success. I would rank trapception #1 and shuriken #2. I'm not a huge fan of dominion after the hero update (harder to centralize)
