A tip for those dark elixir zappers out there...

Got TH7 3 weeks ago. Im in Gold 1 and I have been zapped by TH9s So i payed those lucky people a visit with 40 lvl 2 hogs and 3 lvl 4 healing spells. Three starred most of them + 16k dark profit in total

It is a fact that zapping DE is a large part of the game for lower level players that are too lazy to develop some skills to execute a proper raid. Sadly this extends into later game play as well as not long ago i was raided by a TH10 L144 who after failing to get a star let alone access to my base core elected to zap the DE so tantalizingly close, but so far away since all the invading troops were dead from a very weak attack.

I hear some TH7 and early TH8 saying "its the only way for me to get DE to get my BK". Well to this i call ♥♥. I maxed TH7 & TH8 including getting BK to 10 and never once zapped DE. I did however do a lot of raids, many of which failed along the way and i learned a ton about the variations of both base design and troop strength.

All you do by sniping TH and zapping DE is cheät yourself. You wind up in a league you can't sustain and can never hope to win raids in facing bases way out of your grasp. Of course you feel like your only resort is to zap DE. Then suddenly you are a weak TH9 with no raiding skills and the game is against you. Seriously, don't take the low easy road to crystal 3 just for the badge. Farm in an appropriate range, learn to use your troops well and build a strong base. You will enjoy the game more, and be a much stronger player for it.

And if you ever need that last bit of de for an upgrade, have lightning spells to burn, want to make an un winnable revenge hurt or just do not need spells and have an excess of elixir ZAP those storages(or drills)!

Please do! Will leave the light on for you. Just revenged a TH 10 that opened with 5 shock spells on my de. Took 400 more de back, plus 350k gold, 150k elixir. Oh, and i led with a few shock spells of my own so he would know who was calling. lol, #bestdayever

I am glad u understand that TH7 need DE.. How else am I gonna get 10,000 DE for a king?

I would never take it from a base that is pushing. I would only take farmers.. I would snipe your TH so u get the shield..
Peeps please be more aware that TH7 has little or no chance of taking it by force of arms..

As a TH8 and now as a TH9, I have a simple philosophy on DE Zappers.

If you are a TH7 and you snipe me and zap the DE. Fair play, we were all at TH7 at some point, you deserve what you can get.

If you are a TH7 and you DONT snipe me when you zap the DE and leave me open without a shield, then I will destroy you.

If you are a TH8 and above. You have no excuse. Put on your big boy pants and raid me properly. Take the DE by force with a good army and I may try the same back. Either way you will have earn't it.

Everyone of the TH8+ that have zapped me, I have return raided and taken 2-3 times as much from them.

When people are butt-hurt they have a tendency to make baseless assumptions regarding the people that they feel made them butt-hurt if these assumptions help them to demean the individual which they feel butt-hurted by.

It not that th7 are too lazy it is because it too hard to get de by brute force. Even the most skilled town hall 7 can't beat a well designed th8 or9
