Well he didn't "unlimited funds" he meant the opposite actually.
But SC probably never will have these leaderboards because they don't want to promote not buying gems.

I know what they meant. My comment still works.
There would not be a single person over 3600 trophies. Everyone above that gems. It would be hard to have many in the leaderboard at all because at some point or another, nearly everyone has bought gems.
