it is not the trophies that rank your clan but the amount of resources that you spent on your village. i personally think that it is pretty well balanced.

I think he means the ranking for clans. E.g. In the top 200, clan with most trophies win. I think wars won would be good, but I agree with Angel and it is fair enough right now.
