Well that depends on the player, I have had good success having a dragon, which helps guide the minions a little better. Some do archers to take out outside pumps and mines after the loons have destroyed the defenses. Since balloons move very slowly, sometimes taking out a few buildings with archers helps get you that three start instead of 2 because of time.

I've had success with both. It also kinda depends on what troop levels your clan has. Once AD is gone, any level dragon will tear it up.

I'd wait until you get around TH9 before you start using balloon minion strategy. Pretty much Level 6 balloons will make that difference and is only worth using around that timing. Also your minions will be level 5, they would complement well.

Below TH9 and in low level leagues it's not really worth the waiting time (40-48 minutes for 20-24 loons W.O boosting)

Guys I have some good news.

After all ur Tips and guide I actually made a succesful raid. Well instead of using minnions i kinda used Archers but I got 32 Trophies and 150k of each loot. I know my editing looks bad but just chuck it.

Can i use around 30 minnions bcuz i am trying to get my king to level 5.

I Balloonion ALOT! It's my favorite way to adjust my trophy range. With Lv5 Loons Lv3 Minions Max Rage and Lv4 Heal I can easily 3 Star Mid Grade TH8s and Preemie TH9s. It's all about target Selection, and Spell Usage. Knowing when to drop a spell is very important. It's not some spam attack like Mass Dragon, you have to actually practice and lose a few to get the hang of it. Anyone that says you need to wait til' TH9 to successfully Balloonion is dead wrong.

I use 28 Loons, 30 Minions, 1 Rage, 2 Heal.

Till now my best is only One star with balloonians.
Can someone make a guide for me so I can do the balloonians even better.

I would do GiWiPe instead of GoWiPe because Golem is DE expensive and you want to save DE for King upgrade
