In regards to some form of 'justice' to people who get raided by higher ths, that's the nature of the game, there is intentionally a low loot penalty for one th below and high loot penalty for two th below. Another thing which seems to be completely intentional is how it is entirely possible to raid someone one th above you if you create a high tier army, so it is false to claim that there is nothing else that lower ths could do to revenge.

I enjoy how you discard opinions on here because they say that's the way it is and your response to higher THs bullying lower THs is.... that's the way it is.

I want to suggest that dark elixir storages should not be stolen that much when using only lightning spells but only by attacking it with troops, a lot of people attack with just 4 spells on the elixir storage taking out a lot of them.

I guess I'm a minority..

I didn't simply discard it and say its a part of the game, I gave a proper explanation involving loot penalty. Some people on the forums seem to think that zapping de is a more potent way to stop high ths hitting low ths than loot penalty.

What was also implied was that its a separate issue, if you think theres something wrong with it then go make a separate thread about it with your solutions. But since we are discussing zapping de here everything else is to be taken as it is.

And explanations have been given why zapping is "part of the game". Simply because you choose to ignore those explanations does not make them invalid.

Well actually yes it does, saying that its a part of the game implying that it wont be changed is invalidated once we recognize that things that are a part of the game can change.

Except one can argue that changes represent things not working as designed.

Since zapping is still strong, and they are making 'small incremental changes' it only follows that they may continue to make changes which is what people want. At the moment I can sit in m3 as a new th10 with one inferno and still lose more to lightning spells than storage raids. If they continue to make changes that make zapping de less profitable then everyone would be happy, except for all the th7/8 on this thread that only support it because they benefit from it.

It doesn't follow at all, especially when SC has specifically said they have no plans to alter it.

Zapping does not provide much if any upward pressure. No one in their right mind would go up just to avoid getting zapped. Most people decide what league to be in based on what loot they can get with little regard for how they do on defence, as they should be aiming to make much more than they can potentially lose. The only people this doesn't apply to is those that don't raid so much and possibly rely on drills for de. Someone like this will lose more if they go up to storage raids so when comparing it to being zapped they still have no reason to go up. So again, there is not much upward pressure at all. The thing that provides upward pressure is and has always been loot penalty and now the high loot bonus.

If you want DE, zapping will most definitely contribute substantially toward a decision to move up.

It's a way to attack and get dark elixir it happens to me all the time and I don't really care and I did it as a townhall 7 just spend your dark elixir faster

If they were a wasteland people would not be contributing to the debate. If something in a game is not to your liking and u don't speak up, then u only have yourself to blame when nothing is done. The forums are here for people to "voice" their opinion. If u don't like the thread don't read it.
