The purpose of Norsk is to be a Norwegian language chat channel, not a recruitment channel for the entire world, and it does not serve that purpose.

So, why don't you recruit in English global? You could even propose to have it so people could write their in their native language and have it automatically translated

No, you wanted Norsk as a worldwide recruitment channel. Let the foreign language channels stay that way and use English if you want a worldwide channel.

My counter proposal is that anyone using the words "join" or "invite" in Norsk automatically gets their language set to English and a 24 hour mute...

That game has a built-in translator that will automatically translate other languages into what ever language you set it to. For example. If my primary language was English, it would translate into English.

For example, say this message was sent into chat.

"Bonjour, mes amis. Je suis seth1299."
