Idea to fix Norsk (should please all)

I have seen it in other games, so it is within reach.

From now on, when you post in Norsk, your message will appear in English, but to everyone who has their language setting as Norsk, they will see it in their own language.

What do I mean?

Right now we have an option called 'Language'



What my idea will do is add another menu called 'Language' and change the current language menu to 'Global Servers'. The new language menu will go next to the old one, and the 'Device' menu will move next too 'Sound Effects'.
This can go for all languages, so in future, instead of adding more servers, they just need to add more language translations.
So, you may speak English, but you want to try recruiting on another server, so you go to Norsk, or German, you carry on writing in English, and the Germans will see it in their own language, they will then reply. And you will see it in your own language.

but either way the will need more servers due to more data from any updates sooo..
also they will have to have something like an auto-google translate, right?

I would show you the game that already has this, but thats against forum rules.

It's like an auto google translate, but not. You only see the message in your language, not the language it was posted in. I think it would be more efficient like that aswell.

Also, Yeh, as game data goes on, but they won't need to add more servers to specify for individual languages any more, now they will just need to add servers for data from updates, and even then, this game I'm on about only has 1 chat per kingdom. And a kingdom will have upto 300,000 players.

Google translate is terrible. Texts become quite incomprehensible if they are the least bit complex. Furthermore, I'd like to ask all Norwegians to mute high level English speakers in "Norsk", as we would like our global back as a Norwegian chat channel, rather than a general recruitment channel.

And just to prove a point; here is the same text translated to Norwegian by Google and back again. These are far from the worst result I have seen; after all, translation of the same text back and forth should be quite straightforward. However, you do you need quite a good imagination to understand, for instance, translations from Polish and Portuguese...

Google translate er forferdelig. Tekster blitt ganske uforståelig hvis de er minst litt komplisert. Videre vil jeg gjerne be alle nordmenn å dempe høyt nivå engelsktalende i "Norsk", som vi ønsker vår globale tilbake som en norsk chat kanal, snarere enn en generell rekrutteringskanal.

Og bare for å bevise et poeng; her er den samme teksten oversatt til norsk av Google og tilbake igjen. Furthermore, I would like to ask all Norwegians to curb high-level English speakers in the "Norwegian", as we want our global back as a Norwegian chat channel, rather than a general recruitment channel.

Why don't you email google administration?

They encourage people to message then with google translate issues. And I didn't say we would use google translate, just it would work like that, but with better translating.

I could have fixed the translation directly on the Google site as well, so the system would learn, but that's not the point. Google puts a lot of resources into their products, coming up with a magical translator that does "better translations" isn't that easy. It would, most likely, require SuperCell to go out and purchase that product in order to implement it.

If you really want to fix "Norsk", ask for a recruitment channel instead of another way to fill a specific language channel with more (and poor) English.

But you won't know they are speaking english, you will see the message in your own language, even if they post it in their language. A recruitment channel has been recommended and won't work for multiple reasons.

One reason being that it will mean global has no real purpose, and people will still just decide to go to Norsk or other languages just to annoy them. It won't help I'm afraid.
