I am in an active clan and we frequently battle clans that do not use the same alphabet as we do. I am sure it would help them and us identify the base that is attacking, and who our clan mates have attacked. I am an American that has lived in China in the past and I find myself having trouble. I am sure others have as well. Easy fix imo.

Of course we do that, but I am one of the leaders and we coordinate attacks of our lower guys and it would help to know if all of there people are attacking low or high. And it takes all day to figure out just who has hit who, even when you have all of the same language. I really don't even care about the name of the person we are attacking. If I could just have one of the fields on the tabs listed in the post the number would be it. As I am sure you know clan wars is all about which numbers are hitting other numbers. So, long and short this thread is not about who I want to attack it is about war management of clan mates and knowing the strategy of opponents.
