I spend a lot of time looking at revenge bases only to find out that I cannot actually go revenge them for various reasons ie: online, active shield... It is a bit frustrating so Most of the time I decide not even to bother It would be super cool if the revenge list only showed valid raidable bases... On that note it is a pain to have to reenter the revenge list in order to actually raid the base I just spent all that time scrolling down to, remember the base name and my strategy... It would be so awesome to add a "start attack" button on the visited base screen!

You mean like how you can scout a war base and then click the attack button? Yeah that would be nice

I agree that something should be done to make revenge a more realistic possibility. Some of my ideas are a check box next to the revenge list, and when you check the box of an opponent you're interested in "revenging" you get the same text they do when their shield is about to run out. Another idea is to have a shield buster you can use once a month to bypass shields and get revenge. It wouldn't work on shields purchased with gems, since we don't want to put people out of real money. Lastly and similarly to your idea is to show the word revenge in green when it's available and red when it's not.

I think the idea for Supercell is to keep players signing in to the game as frequently as possible, and forcing players to keep reviewing their revenge list is one way they make it happen.

I think that you are right... if the revenge list only listed actively valid raidable bases and when you viewed the base you were able to enter the battle directly, more people would revenge, it would be easier, and therefore users would log in more often (if that is a concern?) in order to keep from being revenged as much....

It should be easy:

If the player is rvengable but just online or have an active shield, it will have a grayed out revenge button.

If the player can't be revenged (You attacked first, already reenged) it will day like it is now "revenge unavailable"

I've been on all and see bad ideas and some good, think this may have already been surgested or something simmilar but I love it.

Finnaly something that sill make revenge have purpose.
