    Spring trap sensitivity

I think it would be nice to be able to adjust the sensitivity of the spring trap.

Looks like it currently takes 2000 gold to re-arm the trap, and it can be triggered by a single barb, archer, or goblin.

I'd actually like to see the sensitivity be adjusted to take 3-4 "units" to actually trigger the trap. A "unit" would be defined in the same way as the troop takes space in a camp or castle - barbs, archers, gobs - 1 unit. Wallbreaker = 2. Wizards = 3, Giants = 5, etc.

It seems that the spring trap currently has a maximum capability of 15 "units," so the troop "unit" is already factored into the trap.

It seems kind of pointless that attackers can deploy low level troops to set off the traps before launching their stronger forces. By making the trigger be 3 units, it would still activate on wizards and giants, but ignore a single barb, archer, or gob.

Or, if they gave us the ability to adjust the sensitivity (similar in how xbow can target ground, air, or both), it would allow us to determine how we want to use the traps to be the most effective.

This eliminates the need to have good trap placement.

I agree with this. I tried to think of a way to customize the big bomb trigger because I feel it has the same issue...but couldn't think of anything legitimate. This is not a bad idea, but people will certainly point out to you that you are an awful person because it is "just part of the game" or some such garb.

These other posts are lame cop outs

I think customization is a good thing. You know who else does? Supercell that's who. Air/Ground xbows, Multi/Single infernos. Setting a minimum on spring traps would be fine, and being able to set fuze lengths on bombs would be fine too. It wouldn't eliminate good trap placement, it would generate the possibility of perfect trap placement. 5 second fuzes on giant bombs to wait till the golems go by and wizards come close would be more useful than the current version.
