This is exactly why we do not accept anyone but family/friends during a war. It happened 2 wars ago where a co-leader from the opposing clan tried this. I took great pleasure in destroying his base for the simple fact that he tried such a coward move. And we did not let up like we sometimes do going on to thrash them 120-19.

To the person that made the comment about the NFL teams using scouts, it's not the same. We already HAVE the 'scout' feature in clan wars *face palm*
Even when sports teams do scout, they are not breaking into locker rooms and seeing what equipment will be used, or stealing the coach's playbooks. Watching tape and showing up at games is different from showing up in someone's huddle.

I won't do this because i want cw to be more challenging but I think this is fair, not cheap or anything... it's strategy.
This is a war game, why ppl is being so silly leaving their clan to "anyone can join" or just accept anyone's request? It's like leaving the TH exposed in cw and ask why ppl 2 stars his/her base.

However, this is a game. NOT real war.
cheap shielding is not on the border of being an exploit. It is a smart tactic to help protect your hard earned resources, and it is a WIN-WIN situation for both parties.

You are not ♥♥♥♥♥ing the game because the game allowed you to do this. Having said that, you are behaving poorly and you know it. You probably don't even care though. That's the problem. I think your behavior in-game will transfer to real life. That's sad for you, as well as for anyone affected by you.

No it is NOT the same as leaving your townhall exposed in war. OBVIOUSLY you should keep your clan closed during war, but that doesn't mean we should praise ch e at ing either?
Some of you people that even posted on here supporting this nonsense really disapoint me because some of you guys are who I consider respectable players.
Well, I have the solution.
Since you guys this this is okay, why don't we all just come up with a mega thread on how to spy, ch e at, and slither our scaly selves to victory during war? We can include tips on how/when to spy, how to convince someone to let you join the clan, heck, we can even start making FEEDER clans for spies!!! Thats right! A spy academy if you will. You can keep the name, all yours people. This way, when an enemy clan recognizes all of our members, we simply send in someone from our spy academy to infiltrate and screenshot the base.
Look at you guys man.. Is this what we have resorted to? Are clan wars THAT HARD? What happened to morals? Duh this is a war and the goal is to win..but at what cost? I kick anyone in my clan caught ♥♥♥♥♥ing and NOBODY who supports spying can now say ANYTHING about other forms of Ghosting because as stated earlier, its still an 'exploit' and the term 'exploit is just a fancy way to mask the word:
