Not an exploit. It is funny that you make a post to brag about going to the trouble of screen shotting everyone's base from a team that leaves their clan open lol. If you didn't need it to win, then it was just a waste of time.

Its technically an exploit but nothing seriously game changing that would result in a ban or something. You're abusing an in-game function to gain an unfair advantage by using your alt to join the opposing clan to scout their bases for trap positions and clan castle troops which you normally wouldn't be able to do. It doesn't have to include 3rd party software to be considered an exploit.

I think it's funny it's assumed that I needed it to win. Not the case at all. Just pointing it out so incase your clan is open during war, that this can happen to you.

Perhaps this is unethical when it comes to gaming and I'll never attempt this; however, how is this any different than an army using scouts to provide intel for military officers or NFL teams scouting their opponents. Entire football game plans are based off of info from scouting. At the end of the day, this comes down to leaders of clans allowing people to join their clan during war prep day.

I decided to join my opponents clan with my second account and screenshot all their base layouts and send them to my clan members.

I thought it was pretty funny and it's their own fault for leaving their clan "open". This is way better than ghosting and it's not an exploit.

Why is this funny and why share it? Its completely irrelevant for anyone but your clanmembers.

Our clan isn't open, but, sometimes the elders see someone with a nice base and just blindly accept them. This happened during our last clan war, someone from the other clan straight up joined our clan. But, I always check to see if the person that just joined is a member of the other clan by looking at the war layouts. Caught him red handed, called him every bad name in the book in the messages you can send them when you boot someone.

Needless to say, we now are closed when we have clan wars going on.
