TH8 help!

I'm a town hall 8 and I need a second/third opinion in weather or not to upgrade to town hall 9 today. All my defenses except teslas and air are maxed. I have 2 level 5 teslas and 1 level 4. And the air defenses are each at level 5 . Walls are all level 7. Should I go to town hall 9 right now as I have a builder free or should I wait even longer? I've been here FOR EVER and change would be appreciated. Anyways, any town hall 9's out there that can help? How is the loot at town hall 9 and how much better/worst is town hall 9 from 8?

I myself am a TH8 and my base is no where near as solid as yours. If you want my opinion I would definitely max everything except those walls. I would get the bk maxed as well as you'll have to deal with the aq with TH9. As for the loot, my friend is a TH9, he farms around gold 2 and gets a good 200k each on an average day. I also did research and found out that its only a 10% decrease of available loot if your attacking a TH8 as a TH9 which really isn't that much.
Anyways... do as you wish but I would give it a month or so. If you need the loot to finish your upgrades consider switching servers to a country where it is night time when you are in daylight (pm me if you don't know how to do this).

To be honest, you can probably get away moving up to TH 9 as you have solid defenses and you're much more prepared than a decent amount of other TH 9's.

If the game is really getting boring, then moving up is a great fresh start in my opinion.

Also, during upgrade, you may want to farm 40k DE to get the AQ as soon as possible.

The loot is pretty decent. You can't raid TH 7's anymore, and you'll also need to move your trophy range much higher in order to be in optimal farming range.

You are way better than I was at th lv 8, but I mainly upgraded to th lv 9 before maxing out my base was to build another dark exlixir drill and get a lot more of dark exlixir and to get the archer queen.

i found th8 really boring, i think you should go after your air defense is maxxed, because it is such a crucial defense like wiz towers and mortars

Your pretty much exactly where I plan to upgarde at, I still have 1 lvl on cannons and archers to go then ill be starting mine.

The only thing that I would suggest is that you max your BK so that you can focus on the AQ as soon as you get it

Don't wanna hijack his thread, but I'm also considering making the jump to TH9. All my defenses are either maxed or are currently upgrading to the max level except my archer towers, which are all at level 9. Performance wise, is there a noticeable difference with the upgrade from 9 to 10? Or can I just move up with the 9s and be ok?
