    Lightbulb Brainwasher (Turns enemy troops to your side)

    I have been thinking, what if you could have a defense that can brainwash the attacker's troops against the attacker. This idea has great potential in my opinion, but it must be carefully balanced as to not ruin the flow of the game.


    How it works: The building is a defense that must be loaded with dark elixir to function, similar to the inferno tower. When a troop walks into it's 4 block "trigger range", the defense will start to load it's weapon and take aim towards the enemy troop. However, when this happens, all troops within the defense's 8 block "attraction range" will focus their attention on it. After 6.5 seconds of loading, the brainwasher will fire a large drop of dark elixir that affects a 1 block radius. Any troop that is hit with the attack is automatically brainwashed and will act like a clan castle troop. The affected troops will be darkened to show that they have been brainwashed. The defense will then have to cool down for 10 seconds before it can load up again. The defense will only fire at enemies inside the "trigger range", and if the enemy that triggered the defense leaves the range, then the defense will cancel its cycle until another troop triggers it.


    Details/Upgrades: The defense would be unlocked at Town Hall 8. It takes up a 3x3 space. At Town Hall 9, the building can be upgraded to level 2, and at Town Hall 10, the building can be upgraded to level 3.


    Effects: At level 1, the defense would have a 4 block "trigger range" and a 8 block "attraction range" and can brainwash up to 10 spaces of troops. This could be 2 giants, 10 barbarians, 10 goblins, or anything that adds up to 10 unit spaces. At level 2, the range would remain unchanged, but the limit of brainwashed troops would increase to 20 spaces. At level 3, this number increases to 30, and the "attraction range" is increased to 10 blocks. If there is no possible way to get to ex


    Example: For the example, let's assume that there are 3 giants that are 4 blocks from the defense, and there are 5 barbarians and archers that are 2 blocks away from the defense.


    *No tower - nothing happens, the troops carry on as normal
    *Level 1 - the barbarians and archers would become brainwashed since they are the closest to the defense
    *Level 2 - the barbarians, archers, and the closest 2 giants would become brainwashed
    *Level 3 - the barbarians, archers, and the giants would become brainwashed. Since these troops only add up to 25 spaces, the extra 5 are wasted.


    After firing, the defense would then cool down and then wait for another enemy to enter it's range.


    Price: Prices are as follow:


    *Level 1 (Original purchase) - 1,000,000 gold; Full reload from empty - 10,000 dark elixir
    *Level 2 - 1,750,000; Full reload from empty - 13,000 dark elixir
    *Level 3 - 2,750,000; Full reload from empty - 16,500 dark elixir

    Speaking of reloading, the level 1 defense will have 3 shots before it is drained. The level 2 version has 4 shots, and the level 3 version has 5 shots.

    This is just an idea, and obviously a new, original design would be needed for the mortar in the middle. I just used the Boom Beach mortar, and I modified storage bubbles to make this.

    I think this is an exciting idea that would definitely add another dynamic to attack and defense strategies, and like you mentioned it would have to brought into the game in such a way to not make it OP and make sure it doesn't ruin the current gameplay.

    Overall good idea I think.

    Thanks for that! If you have any suggestions besides the ones I supplied like short range and long cool down time, I'd be more than happy to hear them! I am always open to suggestions for my ideas and feedback! I am glad you like my idea! Check out my other one if you haven't. It's pretty cool.
