What's the best clan war attack strategy for a th 8?

I am moving on from dragons and not sure what attack to focus on next. I can either upgrade hogs to lvl 4 or golems to lvl 2 next, I have 60k de right now. Are hogs still pretty effective since the update?

Hogs still rip apart tight base with badly placed giant bomb. Other than that, dragon is pretty much the only usable clanwar attack.

I get a clan castle full of balloons (5) I rage the 5 balloons which usually gets atleast one air defense. Then I use 3 Wizards 3 Barbs and my Barb King to clear a path in the middlefor my drags. Then I drop my drags and use my other two rage spells when in a heated spot with mutiple air defences, on the town hall, or against the opposing air defence. I've been able to three star maxed townhall 8's and atleast two star high townhall 9's. Hope this helps!
