Clan wars needs a rank system!

Clan wars only purpose as of now is to gain loot. However the loot gained for winning does not pay compared to what is spent for war. it needs a ranking system similar to the current trophy system. Example, leagues should be devided by clan size not strength. You climb each league by gaining wins. This would give more purpose for winning wars ! Gain world rank!

Then do a cheaper stratagey. I can do a GoWiPe and still make loot.

Just deal with it, the main purpose of war is competition and fun. Not many people profit off wars, i spend at least 4k DE a war and i'm not bothered. Also there is already a thread on how many war wins clan have which has a leader board on.
IGN: swede Town Hall: 9 Level: 97
Gold Grab: 270m Elixir Escapade 280m
Heroic Heist: 600k Highest Trophies: 2650
    Walls:112= 8 12=9 Rest Level 7
    Clan: 17Dragons (Level 6 96 Wins)

Isn't that the core of the entire game? Gain loot?

Farm to gain loot. Gain trophies to go up leagues and get a bigger loot bonus. Win wars for loot.

Isn't one of the core strategies to build the cheapest army possible (spend resources) to gain as much loot as possible (steal resources)?

Part of the challenge is finding that balance, even in war.

So, the exploitable way to win is to get ten TH10s and close your clan, get into the size-10 league, and beat up smaller clans with lower town halls?

Also, Clan size changes as people come and go. We were 45v45 last week, but now have 38 members. How would that affect which league we are in?

This idea does not seem like it has been thoroughly thought through.

I dont like this idea. Keeping the appropriate league with your own village is tough enough (IE: league with loot, avoiding leagues where people 3 star you, and perhaps even a good loot bonus), this would complicate matters if added for war. People might even start losing a few wars on purpose to get into a certain league. Thus, this prevents clans from trying their absolute best. Not everyone goes to war just for loot, some for the glory, but I think adding war leagues would complicate things.
