Oh, it's very possible. Th10 doesn't get that many offensive improvements over TH9. Th9 vs TH8 is ten times worse.

And to add to this, I defend my 2'500 raid-able dark elixir against Th10s on a regular basis.

Don't hold so much gold and de at the same time. Dump your gold into walls or cheaper upgrades until you've saved up your de. It shouldn't take that long. Then get back to gold farming. The key is you don't want to be the whale that everyone wants to take down since you have all that gold/de/elix at the same time.

when my xbow is done (one day) ill dump gold in walls and do another army camp

my mini is also brand new TH9, not even maxed th8... with just pink lv.6 walls...
well I've got AQ without problems and about 100 purple walls too.

which TH10 don't like to roll an early TH9 with 300K+?

Just do your elixir upgrade and dump all your gold into walls... the Lv.120+ farmers won't bother to touch you for 1000 DE. They're actually looking for your 300K+, 1000 DE is just a bonus.

I'm a Th10 myself, I will not raid a target with 1K DE alone... it's waste of time, troops and spells... I will go if only they also offer 300K+. I will attack a base that have no gold if only they're offering more than 2.2K DE.

1) Don't log off after every raid
2) Use a DE protection base
3) Put TH outside
4) Most important- don't be a newb and ignore this
